Regular Colour Cockapoo & Bernedoodle Puppies (Micro, Mini, Medium & Standard Size)
Buff, Bicolour, Apricot, Chocolate, black and Red puppies are priced at $2500. When puppy is selected a deposit of $500 is required to hold baby until they come home at 8 weeks of age. Deposits are not refundable, but with permission from Breeder, may be used towards another puppy within the same calendar year.
Merle Cockapoo & Bernedoodle Puppies
Merle puppies are unique and highly desirable. Merle puppies can be sable merle, blue merle and chocolate merle colouring. Price of merle puppies is $3000.
Tri-Colour Bernedoodle Puppies
Tri-colour bernedoodle puppies are highly desirable (brown, black and white - Bernese Mountain Dog markings). Price of traditional tri-colour puppies is $2500.
Boarding of Purchased Puppies After "Go Home" Day fees
There are occasions where a customer may request CCC&B keep their pup beyond the litter "Go Home" date for various reasons (vacation, work, holiday etc.), if approved and can be accommodated by the Breeder or Guardian Breeder, a daily fee of $25 will be required in advance. This is not meant to be a hardship to our new customers, but it is very complex and challenging to keep a pup once the litter mates have gone home and creates extra work in terms of supervision and supporting mama dog.
Tri-colour bernedoodle puppies are highly desirable (brown, black and white - Bernese Mountain Dog markings). Price of traditional tri-colour puppies is $2500.
Shipping & Delivery in Canada
We often offer to bring a litter of puppies south (Barrie or Vaughan area) for pick up at no additional charge to our customers. It is the responsibility of the buyer(s) to make themselves available as only one delivery run will be provided per litter.
We offer shipping in Ontario and throughout the provinces of Canada via flights through Westjet Cargo (out of Toronto year-round) and Bear Skin Airlines (out of North Bay only available May 1 through to October 1).
Flights are booked through the Breeder. Deposit + flight costs due when reserving pup. Balance due day prior to scheduled flight.

Genetic & Health Testing of our Cockapoos & Bernedoodles
Summary
In late 2022 we completed genetic testing on all of our breeding stock utilizing Embark.com. DNA analysis was obtained about each animal's breed, characteristics and health traits. This was not as popular or an expectation when we started out breeding in 2020, but as the leading cockapoo breeders in the province of Ontario emerge, this has become a necessity to ensure our actions are both ethical and appropriate for the health of our dogs and puppies.
All off our dogs had very positive results, with no underlying medical conditions, and clear eyes, ears, hips, skeletal issues and overall health. We may adjust some pairings of our dogs to select the best matches for colouring, size and coats desired.
2 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE
Cottage Country Cockapoos& Bernedoodles will provide a two-year health guarantee, expiring on the dog's second birthday. This guarantee gives consideration to any hereditary or genetic condition diagnosed by a licensed Veterinarian which causes a medical condition or ailment to the dog which is detrimental to their health. We reserve the right to ask for a second opinion to confirm the concern. Full refund will be provided.
Microchips available
Microchip upon request
Once a pup has been reserved, our customers will be given the option of having their baby microchipped. This will be completed by us when the baby is 6 - 8 week of age. Initially our Veterinarian has been assisting as we learn the appropriate techniques. Cottage Country Cockapoo & Bernedoodle fee for microchip and insertion is $25.
Families will then be given the microchip codes and will need to register themselves at their own cost once their pups are home.
Recommended site: M4S Microchip Solutions, one time fee, lifetime support. Expected cost for registration is about $50.

Trupanion Pet Insurance
Trupanion Pet Insurance
In 2022, we partnered with Trupanion Pet Insurance and are now able to provide 30 days of insurance commencing the day you bring your puppy home. Families need to register within 24 hours of bringing baby home and can review what services are provided.
Families can work independently with Trupanion Insurance and decide if they want to enrol in further coverage beyond the initial 30 day coverage. With the rising costs of veterinarian care, this should be thoroughly considered.

Surrendering / Returning a Puppy purchased from CCCB
If a customer needs to return / surrender their puppy, please understand we take this very seriously and personally as these babies are live animals who deserve dignity and respect. There are very limited circumstances to which this may be requested, so please appreciate this would be a last resort.

Cottage Country Cockapoos & Bernedoodles will take possession of the pup and ensure any required veterinarian care is provided and assess the puppy for adoption appropriateness after being surrendered. No puppies will be re-sold under any circumstance after a return / surrender, but we will work to find a loving and appropriate adoptive family with no fee exchanged.

We have been married for 26 years and have two amazing and wonderful teenage daughters, one of which is off to University. We have many friends and family that enrich our lives but are mostly quiet homebodies who enjoy nature and animals. Kev works full-time outside of the home, and I work full-time in the home allowing us to keep things running smoothly most of the time :). We adore cockapoos & bernedoodles, as well as several other breeds, with Bernese Mountain Dogs being another favourite. We are into hiking, building, gardening, planting, growing, farming, sustainable living etc. We spoil our dogs, treating them like babies and enjoy all the fun of breeding. I am a second-generation Breeder, as my father was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club breeding Rottweilers and Boxers throughout my childhood. We are having fun and enjoying this crazy ride and hope to for many more years!
Julie & Leo
Julie & Leo are a husband and wife team with grown adult children, a giant extended local family and a very sweet grandchild, all of whom visit often. They live in the town of Huntsville in a quaint bungalow on a large town lot which includes forest, beautiful gardens, tons of decking and outdoor living as well as an above ground pool. This couple are very close friends of ours and have been loving on cocker spaniels and cockapoos for years! Julie and Leo are excellent dog parents, with much time and attention being provided to their fur babies. Leo has been known to sport many pairs of pajama pants and model for pics and is lovingly known as "the Puppy Whisperer". This great pair have Stormie and Toffee from our breeding program as well as good boy (neutered) Fergus in their cockapoo gang.
Nana Deb & Grandpa Chris
Nana Deb (AKA my mom) and Grandpa Chris are avid cockapoo lovers and have devoted much of their time and attention in lovingly raising up their cockapoo gang. With retirement and semi-retirement upon them, they enjoy meeting the day to day needs of their dogs and watching them grow and develop. Nana and Grandpa live in the tiny Village of Burks Falls in a residential area in a newly remodeled home with a very large in town lot in the backyard. Nana and Grandpa have Sassy and two little sweet sisters which will be introduced in Winter 2024 into our breeding program.
Amy Lynn & Joel
Amy Lynn & Joel are close friends of our family and have fallen in love with the cockapoo & Bernese Mountain Dog breeds and have embraced the fun of whelping litters / raising babies. It comes as no surprise as they have a lovely large family with 6 children ranging in age from 9-15 years old. The family resides in a beautiful residential area on the outskirts of Huntsville, on a large acred lot. They have numerous gardens, fruit trees, chickens, ducks, play equipment, trampoline, hot tub and above ground pool to keep everyone busy and having fun. Amy Lynn is very experienced, and self-taught in farming and whelping, so is a natural in handling the pups with ease all the while managing her household. Joel is her biggest fan and support, working virtually full-time and available at the ready. Many of their children are also animal enthusiasts, watching and learning and even assisting with our Open Houses and farm chores. This family is a gem!
Puppy Food
Beginnings..How do we start feedings?
At three to four weeks of age we begin providing our puppies formula. Soon meat is added to the formula and lastly soaked kibbles are added to make gruel or puppy slop. Pups are fed twice per day, morning and suppertime and mama will nurse babies as she desires. Puppies by 6 weeks of age will have their primary source of food being kibble and meat.
Brand of Food for Puppies
We have tried many forms and brands of food for our pups and have recently changed to Royal Puppy Kibble (small breed for our cockapoos and large breed for our bernedoodles) and Royal Canin Puppy pate canned meat. We also recommend Acana brand food as well as Iams. Cockapoos are known for having food sensitivities so if concerned, reducing chicken and beef products is recommended. Duck, Turkey and Lamb are wonderful alternatives. Bernedoodles are known to be hearty eaters, with few food sensitivity issues.
Our Adult Dogs Food
We use a combination of Royal Canin adult Kibble and Raw food. We prefer Big Country Raw brand which is available at many pet food stores as well as online. Organic pumpkin, salmon and other raw treats are also excellent for nursing and pregnant mamas.
Puppy Tummy Troubles
If you would like to change your puppies food, please mix with new food at a 50:50 ratio for at least one week to ensure their tummies can manage the change. It is also important to be careful about "treats". When puppies are young and potty training, hand feeding their kibble in lieu of cookies is preferable to avoid unwanted issues.
